Release information

This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Pokémon GO expansion, first released in the Japanese subset of the same name. Both prints feature artwork by sadaji. It was reprinted as a SWSH Black Star Promo with different artwork by the same artist and was available in the Pokémon GO Melmetal V Battle Deck and the Pokémon GO V Battle Deck—Mewtwo vs. Melmetal from July 1, 2022. In Japan, this print was released as a S-P Promotional card and was distributed as part of the Pokémon GO Promo Card Gift Campaign, which began on June 17, 2022. For every four Pokémon GO booster packs purchased in one transaction at participating stores, customers would receive a Promo Card Pack containing one of seven possible cards.[1] The campaign ran for as long as stocks lasted.
