My delusion spreads to infinity, in a crouch and ready to go! and get'em I'm a jitterbug party of one, the guiding star of my life is always "I wanchu!"
In a flash and SPARK! That feeling explodes My mind tells my heart, "Not yet, not yet!" Jealousy candy does not taste good Giving up was always the easiest path
Under friendly fire in this game of love, say bye-bye to this gloom and doom Sentimental? Doesn't matter! Eyes meet, and bam! Sucker punched to the max with love
This love zip zap zooms and the chu chu chu's just won't stop Aiming my Volt Tackle to the middle of your heart It's not very effective… Why not!? Come on!! I just can't help it, cuz I'm reckless
This love is paralyzing, I can't move, and I'm lovin' it My cheeks are burning in the recoil of my Volt Tackle It's super effective! But to only me!? Wait wait, do-over! Let's do one more battle!
Cuz I wanchu! Yeah, you! I wanchu wanchu more! Cuz I wanchu! Yeah, you! I wanchu wanchu more! Cuz I wanchu! Yeah, you! I wanchu wanchu more! Zzzzzzzzzap! Go!
I'm playing the lonely card, yeah, I'm just timid Pretending to be adamant, it's just a facade, you know "Oh so bashful!" you tease me with a smile But I'm warning you, you'd better be on your guard
Shoo me away, go on, I don't care Shoo me away, go on, I don't care Shoo me away, go on, I don't care All your shooing can't harm me, I'm in invincible mode!
This love zip zap zooms and the chu chu chu's just won't stop You give me whiplash when you put on your aversion sash Don't counteract my love beams by digging away Please, please, really look at me
This love zip zap zooms and the chu chu chu's just won't stop Aiming my Volt Tackle to the middle of your heart It's not very effective… Why not!? Come on!! I just can't help it, cuz I'm reckless
This love is paralyzing, I can't move, and I'm lovin' it My choice is this, to catch you with this Volt Tackle It's gonna be super effective! Even on you! Can't stop, won't stop, till I catch you, battle me again!
Cuz I wanchu! Yeah, you! I wanchu wanchu more! Zzzzzzzzap! Gotcha! You're mine!

Trivia
- The song includes parts of Title Screen, Battle! (Trainer Battle), Battle! (Champion), and Battle! (Gym Leader—Johto Version), as well as a Pokémon Center theme and a caught Pokémon fanfare.
- The phrase "aversion sash" references the Focus Sash item, as they're similarly pronounced in Japanese: (きあいのタスキ Kiai no Tasuki versus 嫌いのタスキ Kirai no Tasuki).
- This song's producer, DECO*27, might have been chosen to commemorate the 27th anniversary of Pokémon.
- Interestingly, out of the Pokémon games shown in the intro of the music video, Generations I and V are entirely absent, with the Unova region as a whole being unrepresented.
