Risa Shimizu (Japanese: 清水理沙 Risa Shimizu) is a Japanese voice actress for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Shimizu was born on September 9, 1988 in Kanagawa, Japan, and became a voice actress as an adult. She started her work in the Pokémon anime during Pokémon the Series: XY, where she voiced Charlene, the apprentice of Olympia. However, her best known roles were Alola's Nurse Joys, Lana's Brionne and Primarina, and several recurring wild Pokémon, all of whom appeared in Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. She then proceeded to voice Goh's Beedrill in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. Shimizu is currently affiliated with the talent group Aksent.
