Friend Guard (Japanese: フレンドガード Friend Guard) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. This Ability is exclusively obtained as a Hidden Ability.

Effect

In battle

Friend Guard reduces the damage done to allies by 25%. It does not reduce the damage dealt by moves that deal direct damage.

Outside of battle

Friend Guard has no effect outside of battle.
