• Blue and Diantha meet with Gurkinn at the Lost Hotel.
• Blue is revealed to be a Mega Evolution Successor.
• X and his friends arrive in Anistar City, only to find Professor Sycamore under attack.
• X's Pinsir is revealed to be named Rute while Y's Absol is named Solsol.
• Together, X and Y rescue Professor Sycamore.
• Sycamore reveals that due to the ultimate weapon firing on Kalos, X and Y are now able to search for Mega Stones between 8 PM and 9 PM.
• X and Y give their Mega Rings to Tierno and Shauna so that they may find the Mega Stones for Rute and Solsol.
• Essentia watches the event from afar, but is spotted by Y.
