Flygon (Japanese: フライゴン Frygon; German: Libelldra; French: Libegon) is a Ground/Dragon-type Pokémon.

Pokédex entries

Pokémon Emerald
The flapping of its wings sounds like singing. To prevent detection by enemies, it hides itself by flapping up a cloud of desert sand.

Name origin

Flygon's name is a combination of fly and dragon. Its Japanese name also has this combination, but fly is misspelled, most likely as an accident.

Flygon is based on the winged, adult stage of the antlion.
