EV-enhancing items are items which enhance the EVs gained when a Pokémon is defeated. All of them reduce the Speed of the Pokémon holding them in battle while they are being held.

- Gift from Victoria Winstrate after the defeat of the whole family. (R/S/E).
- Found under where Giovanni stands (need to use itemfinder) in Viridian Pokémon Gym after defeating him (FR/LG).
- Gift from boy in Pastoria City after showing him all three forms of Burmy (D/P).
Use: Doubles any Effort values the Pokémon holding it gets, but halves its Speed in battle.
