Aron (Japanese: ココドラ Cokodora; German: Stollunior; French: Galekid) is a Steel/Rock-type Pokémon.

A Pokémon that is clad in steel armor. A new suit of armor is made when it evolves. The old, discarded armor is salvaged as metal for making iron products.

Name origin

Aron's name may be a combination of armor and iron. Aron's Japanese name can be broken down into 子 ko, child, Kodora. Kodora is the Japanese name of Aron's evolution, Lairon, hence child Kodora.
