How does the encouter tables actually work for generation 1? Does Pokemon Green have every encounter identical as Blue? :As far as Green and Blue go the answer is no, since there are some version exclusivity things that go on. I do not believe there are differences between encounters between English Red and Japanese Red, but I may be incorrect. --Spriteit (talk) 13:01, 26 October 2024 (UTC) |

Preferably have a description running here akin to the descriptions available in the currently "up" walkthrough sections ( 1 and 2 ), with levels and the like?
Also, perhaps a list of attainable items? - unsigned comment from Evkl (talk • contribs)
- I don't know who wrote this, but both of these wishes have been fullfilled. --TwinsMetsFan 20:17, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Where can i find Gen II maps of Gen I areas?
Where can i find Gen II maps of Gen I areas?
- It's called Google. Bulbapedia has most of them on the various pages, but you can find them all over the internet. Ryuutakeshi 2:20 August 27
- Get a rom, and a program call Gold Map then you can view maps in a pinch! -Mew Jadester-tp- 09:58, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- Here you have a map of GSC Kanto: Pokemon-GSC-Kanto.png. Or search in VGMaps here: GB/GBC maps or GBA maps. --Gabo 2oo 00:54, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
From the generational differences...
Where it says "the Generation I version has grassy patches to both the east and the west of the route itself."
This isn't exactly true, the grass isn't actually part of the route, it's just a tile that the borded is set as from memory. (GT4GTR 13:12, 30 April 2010 (UTC))
- However, we must assume its grass. After all, aren't the surrounding tiles on Generation III trees?--Clarky13 13:46, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Another Route 1
In the recent CoroCoro scans,It says that Isshu routes will start again with Route 1.So Come September 18,2010 or when Black & White is released,I would sugest that this page should be moved from Route 1 to Route 1(Kanto) and make a page called Route 1(Isshu) for Isshu`s route in description.LucarioWolf 18:32, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- We have already discussed what we are going to do. No pages will be moved. MaverickNate 18:55, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Move
It's been confirmed that Isshu also has a Route 1, so this page should be moved to Route 1 (Kanto) and this page should be a disambiguation. --Shiny Noctowl 02:10, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's been confirmed that Isshu has a Route 1. And... that's all. Nothing else. Not even the names of the towns it connects to. We have a plan. Routes will be at (REGION) Route (NUMBER). Therefore, this will eventually be the talk page for Kanto Route 1. An article will be made at Isshu Route 1 soon. TTEchidna 02:57, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
"Appearance."
Under the mange section, the word "appearance" is misspelled as "appearence." --♫Green♫ 20:47, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Interwiki link to Pokéteca
So, like this wiki, other EP wikis have been updating their route articles for Isshu. Or at least Pokéteca has been starting to do it. Case in point, the new interwiki link should be es:Ruta 1 (Kanto), not es:Ruta 1. I can't edit it myself since this article is glitched -- I mean protected, so can someone who can edit this article update the link please? That would be great. --Blaziken257 03:47, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- From the other interwiki links it looks to me like the others haven't moved their articles yet. I've updated the Pokéteca link. Werdnae (talk) 05:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- Can someone add pl:Route 1. --SnorlaxMonster 08:12, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Still protected?
Its been quite a while since the move. Isn't it about time to un-protect this? If not, then an admin should edit the Pokemon template. Blake Talk·Edits 02:05, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Crystal encounter rates
It would appear that when you encounter a wild Pokémon in Crystal, you have a 5% chance of not actually seeing anything. Does anyone know what this should be corrected to? Dawnshadow 16:02, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Japanese Blue
Why is the Japanese Blue excluded? This page - as well as others - is incomplete without it.Linkdude20002001 (talk) 05:45, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Charizard
I didn’t want to go straight to adding it to the page since I couldn’t give you an encounter percentage or anything, but I found a Charizard flying above the route in Let’s Go Pikachu. I can provide photographic proof if needed. Lemme know if there’s any way I can help, just thought it should be brought to the wiki’s attention if y’all didn’t know already. Route 10
It says Route 1 is connected to Galar Route 10??? Must be a mistake right MonkeyBusiness (talk) 00:53, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
- That section doesn't list connected locations (look above to find them). It's just a list of all Routes in order, and it loops back to the start after you reach the last Route. Itan (talk) 13:23, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
Pokemon Green
How does the encouter tables actually work for generation 1? Does Pokemon Green have every encounter identical as Blue? Is English Red the same as Japanese Red?--Rocket Grunt 20:34, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
