Slow Start (Japanese: スロースタート Slow Start) is an ability introduced in Generation IV that causes the Attack and Speed stats to be halved during the first 5 turns in battle. If this Pokémon is switched out, its stats will once again be halved for the first 5 turns it is sent out again. In Pokémon Battle Revolution specifically, if Skill Swap is used on this Pokémon, its stats will immediately return to full power. Only 1 Pokémon has this ability.
