HMs needed?

Does anyone know what HMs (if any) you need to get through here? SoItBegins (talk) 00:15, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

I just encounted a level 59 Gurdurr here. Jekporkins (talk) 13:44, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

Damp Rock

Are we sure that the Damp Rock is given by the NPC, I just beat her and got nothing.--Tom (My Talk Page) 20:01, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure. What's weird is that I sometimes get them after defeating wild Pokémon. It might be that. Pokedex493 (talk) 20:15, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
Possibly, I sometimes get Berries after a battle--Tom (My Talk Page) 20:17, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
I've heard about items hidden in background during battle. Yes, during battle. Uploader (talk) 21:03, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
That might be possible. After all, Nintendo has done a whole bunch of strange stuff for X and Y. Pokedex493 (talk) 21:21, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
Would you randomly get these items or would you have to hit a certain area. Also, would the Berry Trees in the background count?--Tom (My Talk Page) 22:10, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
I know by using Air Cutter when Berry Trees are in the background you can get berries. I think there's moves that get you the rocks after breaking Stalagmites in caves. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 22:28, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

So back to the original statement, should we remove the Damp Rock from the items column since it is found by chance, and not always given?--Tom (My Talk Page) 22:43, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

Hydreigon

I found 4 dropping from the sky, in amongst lots of Fearows, (3 in a row), but I have not found any Skarmorys yet. Maybe Hydreigon is just rare rather than Very Rare?

Also they don't drop from the sky inside the cave, but outside in between the caves

--Tom (My Talk Page) 11:27, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

I think that the rarities came from the official guide book. You might just be lucky. I've encountered about 50 Fearow, 10 Skarmory and a grand total of 0 Hydreigon. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 11:30, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

Anistar City?

If you go to the broken castle where you battle Serena/Calem and look out as far down to the right as you can, you can see a body of water that looks like it has a town on top of it. Would that be Anistar City? It's really the only thing that I can think of, and aside from the missing sundial, it's pretty spot on. Heibai (talk) 07:57, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

Poliwrath Location

I think there should be a note somewhere stating that Poliwrath is only found fishing inside the cave just before getting to the pokemon league and not outside. I spent a good hour outside looking for it and found it on my second try inside that cave.

Rarity question. I got spammed by Druddigon encounters.

I'm Playing Y, and every step it seems I am running into them in the second cave system, just past the Pokémon Ranger that heals your team. Where did the figures for these rarity systems come from, because either they're wrong, or I am a lucky guy to get multiple encounters with Druddigon Yamitora1 (talk) 00:17, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

If they contradict with your experience, change it. SeanWheeler (talk) 03:29, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
I don't want to risk changing it just on my experience or my word that I got multiple encounters with Druddigon. I mean if these rarity values came from an actual printed guide or whatnot, I would look foolish changing something that comes from an official source. Plus It wouldn't be very ethical to go on my word, from an experience that cannot likely be replicated and presented as proof.
I will say that I encountered Druddigon at least 3 times back to back by the second cave's entrance and I encounter it at least once every time I enter that entrance and navigate that general area. Maybe its a glitch, maybe I am lucky but it does call into question its rarity at least on my behalf and within my version. Perhaps they are rarer in X than Y, or it depends on time of day or day of the week? I just found out I had my system time set wrong since it uses a 24 hour clock and when I had set it, it was night time here so the time within the game has been off by 12 hours until I fixed the issue. So maybe the day and time had something to do with these encounters.
So again, I ask where do the rarity values come from; Are these even official? Yamitora1 (talk) 22:33, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
I asked the same thing about Hydrigoen, it is on a random number generator, so you are probably lucky. I have also found that if you own a Pokémon then it appears to become more common.--Ditto51/Tom (My Talk Page) 22:44, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
As you can see in the history tab, the rarity values were added by admins during the period in which Bulbapedia was locked to regular editors, and I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that I heard somewhere that it was from a guidebook. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 23:11, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
I would suggest checking what the ability of your first Pokèmon is to make sure that is not affecting things. --Super goku (talk) 23:26, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

My party consists of Lucario, Yveltal, Charizard, Blaziken, Greninja and another Greninja I use as a HM slave. None of them have any abilities that would effect encounter rate. Although I did at one point evoke the Stealth O-Power if memory serves. Could Stealth O-Power have done this? Yamitora1 (talk) 00:07, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

Highest leveled wild Pokémon?
