• This episode marks the first time in the XY series where V (Volt) was not used as an insert song during a Pokémon's evolution. For this case, DreamDream was used instead.

Errors

Pancham's ear error

• During the scene when Pancham slips and falls on the ground, its left ear is colored the same way as its head.
• After Fennekin accidentally attacked Serena with Flamethrower when she meant to hit Pancham, her face and clothes got charred and her hair puffed up. After Serena scolded Fennekin and Pancham for constantly fighting, the burn marks disappeared and her hair went back to normal.
