The Grass type is one of the ten TCG types. It is represented by the color green.

The Grass type contains all Grass- and Template:Type2 Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Sceptile and Beedrill are all Grass types in the TCG.

Prior to the Diamond & Pearl set, the Grass type also contained all Template:Type2 Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Muk and Weezing were Grass types in the TCG. However, Template:Type2 Pokémon are now Psychic type cards.

Battle properties

Generally, Grass Pokémon have a weakness to:

• Fire (if the Pokémon is a Grass- or Template:Type2 in the video games)
• Psychic (if the Pokémon is a Template:Type2 in the video games)

Generally, Grass Pokémon have a resistance to:

• Fighting (if the Pokémon is a Template:Type2 in the video games)
• Water (if the Pokémon is a Template:Type2* in the video games)

These types are generally weak to Grass Pokémon:

• Water
• Fighting (if the Pokémon is a Ground- or Template:Type2 in the video games)
• Darkness (if the Pokémon is Dark and Water/Grass-type in the video games)

These types are generally resistant to Grass Pokémon:

• Metal (if the Pokémon is a Template:Type2* in the video games)
