In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, after completing the storyline and exploring Solar Cave, Spinda may appear in town. Spinda will give the player the Clear Wing, a legendary artifact, beginning the The Mystery of the Mirage Pokémon. The player must then talk to Xatu at the Great Canyon, who will explain what the player must do next. After defeating Entei at Fiery Field, Entei will turn the Clear Wing into the Red Wing, and send the player to Lightning Field. After defeating Raikou there, Raikou will turn the Red Wing into the Sunset Wing and send the player to Northwind Field. After defeating Suicune here, Suicune will turn the Sunset Wing into the Rainbow Wing and send the player off to Mt. Faraway. Here, due to the power of the Rainbow Wing, the player can encounter, battle and recruit Ho-Oh. None of these items show up in the team toolbox.
Also in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, after recruiting Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, Alakazam will recommend speaking to them in their Friend Area, Legendary Island. When visiting them there, they will create the Vortex Stone, which gives the player access to Silver Trench, where the player encounters Lugia.
In Pokémon Ranger
In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, the Rainbow Grail is capable of summoning Ho-Oh on the Rainbow Dais.

Silver Wing
A Silver Wing in the anime
The Silver Wing appeared in several episodes in the Whirl Islands. In The Mystery is History, Luka rescues Silver from Cassidy and Butch and then explains that she's trying to discover information about a Silver Wing she got from her great-grandfather that she kept inside a locket. When Silver's parent appeared from the ocean, her Silver Wing began to glow a violent red. When it finally began to trust them and calmed down, the glowing stopped. When everyone goes swimming with Silver and its parent, she realizes the Silver Wing is a feather from Lugia, and is relieved to have finally unlocked its secret.
On Silver Rock Isle, there is a tale that a crew caught in a storm was rescued by a wild Lugia and from that day forward, the citizens on the island have glorified the Silver Wing, putting it on various trinkets, jewelry, souvenirs, etc.
Another Silver Wing appeared in Showdown At Linoone as one of the items Tokin picked up.
Red Orb and Blue Orb
In A Three-Team Scheme, it was revealed that Field Commander Tabitha, here referred to as Harlan, and Tactical Commander Shelly, here referred to as Isabel were in possession of the Blue Orb, here identified as the Indigo Orb, and the Red Orb, here identified as the Rose Orb, respectively.
In Gaining Groudon and The Scuffle of Legends, it was revealed that Maxie had the Blue Orb and planned to use it to control Groudon, while Archie had the Red Orb and succeeded in using it to control Kyogre. Maxie lost the Blue Orb when Pikachu became possessed by it after grabbing the orb off of Maxie's desk. It was shown that the both orbs can be absorbed into the body of and possess any person or Pokémon that touches them. This can happen instantly, as was the case with Pikachu, or over time, as was the case with Archie. A human or Pokémon being possessed by one of the orbs will have the corresponding legendary Pokémon's special red or blue markings appear on their body. While possessed, Archie was still able to control Kyogre, but Pikachu went on a wild rampage. When Kyogre was hit by Groudon's SolarBeam, the Red Orb extracted itself from Archie's body and he lost consciousness briefly. The Blue Orb also extracted itself from Pikachu. When he woke up, Archie seemed to have no memory of what happened while he was possessed. Both orbs shortly dissipated into the sky and have not been seen in the anime since. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
The Red Orb controlling Kyogre
Timespace orbs
The Adamant Orb debuted in A Secret Sphere of Influence!, where Team Rocket was tasked by Team Galactic to steal it from the Eterna Museum. Team Rocket successfully made the theft, but did not manage to give the orb to Team Galactic.
The Adamant Orb and the Lustrous Orb appeared in Losing Its Lustrous!. Team Galactic attacked a police plane transporting the Adamant Orb from Eterna City to Celestic Town, and stole the Adamant Orb. The Celestic Town Historical Research Center was studying the Lustrous Orb, and was having the Adamant Orb transported there to be studied as well. Upon receiving word that the Adamant Orb had been stolen, the Lustrous Orb was put under heavy police protection by Officer Jenny and her officers. Professor Carolina, Ash, Dawn, Brock, Cynthia, and Cyrus (who is regarded as a famous businessman) entered the room that contained the orb to examine it, but Mars set off explosives, after which the door to the orb room failed to reseal. Team Galactic burst in and engaged Ash, his friends, and Cynthia in battle. In the next episode, Double Team Turnover!, Team Rocket successfully steal the Lustrous Orb while disguised as police officers. Both Ash and his friends and Team Galactic try to get the orb back, but Team Rocket escapes. After being found hiding in the Celestic Ruins, Ash, his friends, Team Galactic tried to get the orb back, only for Team Rocket to threaten to have James's Carnivine eat it. Jupiter's Purugly jumped on Carnivine's head and took the Lustrous Orb from it. At this point, Team Galactic fled the scene. Back in the Galactic HQ, the Lustrous and Adamant Orbs were shown to be connected to some kind of machinery. In the next episode, If the Scarf Fits, Wear It!, a picture of the Lustrous Orb appeared in an article in the Sinnoh Star that Brock was reading.
In these episodes, Cyrus explained that he believes that the Adamant Orb is Dialga and that the Lustrous Orb is Palkia.
The two orbs made a brief appearance at the end of Unlocking the Red Chain of Events!, where Team Galactic is seen taking them to Spear Pillar, along with the Red Chain. The orbs reappear in The Battle Finale of Legend!, where Cyrus places them and the lake guardians in place around the ruins at Spear Pillar. This process calls forth Dialga and Palkia, who are immediately controlled by the Red Chain. Under Cyrus's control, they create a portal to his new world, which he alone enters. The Red Chain then breaks and the lake guardians use their powers to return Dialga and Palkia to their own worlds. After Dialga and Palkia return to their own worlds, Gary secures the orbs and decides to return them to Professor Carolina.
Dragon Stones
The Dark Stone and Light Stone first appeared in the movies Black—Victini and Reshiram and White—Victini and Zekrom. They were not referred to individually, only collectively as the Dragon Stones, however in the dub of the movies, they are referred individually as the Dark Stone and Light Stone. As embodiments of the dragons, the stones can glow according to the inhabitants' power source. They first appeared under the ownership of the Heroes of Truth and Ideals, as the hibernating forms of the fatigued Reshiram and Zekrom. The stones were hidden below the Sword of the Vale by the Heroes of Truth and Ideals. In Black—Victini and Reshiram, Ash awakens Reshiram while Damon awakens Zekrom; in White—Victini and Zekrom, it is the other way around. Once both dragons were awakened, neither stone is seen again, as the stones are the dragons.

Trivia
- In the Advanced Generation series episode A Different Kind of Misty, an artifact called the "Light Stone" plays a major role in the episode. However it has no relation to the stone where Reshiram resides.
- Despite the fact that in Black and White, it does not allow pokemon who are holding Soul Dew are not allowed to battle, yet soul dew is not legitimately obtainable in B/W.
