Ash's Palpitoad (Japanese: サトシのガマガル Satoshi's Gamagaru) is the seventh Pokémon obtained by Ash in the Unova region.
History
Palpitoad was first seen in BW035, where it was the leader of a group of Tympole that lived in a lake. It was not happy about Ash and Oshawott invading its territory and sent the Tympole to attack them. When they could not defeat Oshawott, Palpitoad called for Stunfisk's help. Palpitoad and Stunfisk were ultimately defeated by Ash and Cilan and captured by both of them, respectively.

Trivia
- Palpitoad is Ash's first Template:Type2 Pokémon that he caught in its evolved form (excluding his temporary Seaking from Hook, Line, and Stinker).
- Palpitoad is also Ash's first Template:Type2 Pokémon that can use Hydro Pump and not Water Gun.
