Crown City (Japanese: クラウンシティ Crown City) is an anime-exclusive location in the Sinnoh region featured in Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
Ash and his friends visit the city to watch the Pokémon Backer World Cup. There they meet a Pokémon named Zorua and decide to help it search for its 'Maa.'
Maa is Zoroark, who has been blackmailed by business tycoon Grings Kōdai into creating the illusion of the city's destruction in the forms of Raikou, Entei and Suicune.
History
Twenty years prior, a disaster caused all plant life in Crown City to die out. That was also the last time before the present that Celebi had appeared in the city.
Raikou, Entei and Suicune are considered the city's protectors. In the film, after Zoroark has stopped destroying the city and been recaptured by Kōdai, shiny versions of the trio appear to attack it, believing it to be responsible for the destruction. When the misunderstanding is resolved, the three aid in the final battle against Kōdai.
