The Lavaridge Gym (Japanese: フエンジム Fuen Gym) is the official gym of Lavaridge Town. It is based on Template:Type2 Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Flannery. Trainers who defeat her receive the Heat Badge.
In the games
The gym is a bathhouse full of steam and geysers that shoot Trainers from the basement to the first floor. Flannery's students hide in some of the pools.
When defeated, Flannery will give the player the Heat Badge as well as TM50 (Overheat) as a reward.

In the anime
The Lavaridge Gym appeared in two episodes of the anime. Its first appearance was in Poetry Commotion. Flannery had just taken over the gym from her grandfather, but had not yet had a battle. In fact, the battlefield was filled with holes and hadn't been cleaned up since the last gym battle. Ash and the others helped Flannery clean up the battlefield, and they had their gym battle in the following episode.
