(Japanese: たびだち! めざせポケモンマスター!! The Journey to be a Pokémon Master Begins!!) is the first episode in a series of three clip shows released in 2000 called Pocket Monsters TV Special: Masara Town Arc Recap, available on rental-only VHS. They chronicled the events of the anime throughout Ash's Indigo League journey. This episode shows select events from Pokémon - I Choose You! to Primeape Goes Bananas. Though a clip show, segments are occasionally tied together with additional animation featuring Mew.

Trivia
- This clipshow was previously shown on TV as part of the Pocket Monsters, Fall Special!. However, at that time, it had no individual titlecard.
- Text on the final scene stating "It's not over yet! Coming up next is Rokon! Breeder Showdown!!!" was also replaced with a zoom-out and "To Be Continued" message.
- Despite being released after the EP038 incident, footage of Porygon was retained, in a "World of Pokémon" segment similar to those seen at the beginning of movies.
- As the episode is approximately 50 minutes long, it has four Dare da? eyecatches.
