Gate of Pugilis |
Pugilis (Japanese: コブシの国 Kobushi Nation) is a kingdom located in western Ransei, featured in Pokémon Conquest. It represents the Fighting type, and is led by Yoshihiro. Its adjacent kingdoms are Fontaine, Ignis, Violight, Chrysalia, and Terrera.
Battlefield
The arena-like battlefield of Pugilis features a central square, Fight Bells, and banners. When Pokémon positioned at the edges of the battlefield's central square are attacked, they will fall out, from where they cannot easily re-enter the square. Fight Bells can be rung by Pokémon attacks, which will increase the Attack stat of all Pokémon belonging to the army of the color of the Fight Bell by 1 stage (i.e. 1.5× if no prior modifiers), for three turns. The four banners located on the battlefield restore the HP of visiting Pokémon, and can determine the outcome of battle.
Battles fought on Pugilis's battlefield are set to a maximum of 30 turns, and victory is seized by holding all four banners for five turns. The army defending Pugilis can also win by defeating all enemies. In the event that the army attacking Pugilis has defeated all enemies, it wins by merely claiming all four banners. If neither army has managed to hold all four banners for five turns when all 30 turns have passed, the army defending Pugilis wins the battle.

Location availability
During The Legend of Ransei, Pugilis has the following locations available. Due to the absence of the Bank, locations cannot be leveled up, and additional locations cannot be unlocked.
