Creatures owns one-third of the copyright to the Pokémon franchise (the other two-thirds owned by Game Freak and Nintendo). Its chairman and CEO was Ishihara until March 2023 and its president and CEO is Yuji Kitano, who has succeeded Hirokazu Tanaka since April 2023.[5][6][7]
