Gigantamax (Japanese: キョダイマックス Kyodaimax) is a temporary transformation affecting Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. Similar to the normal Dynamaxing, Gigantamaxing increases a Pokémon's size drastically and increasing their stats in battle, but only certain species of Pokémon can Gigantamax and their appearance also changes significantly.
After they undergo into their Gigantamax form (Japanese: キョダイマックスのすがた), they are able to use a G-Max Move, which can be only learned by a specific species of Gigantamax Pokémon and determined by the specific type of moves that the Pokémon knows.
