Welcome to Bulbapedia, Tina!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

All of our administrators are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

The Userspace Policy says that you should keep userspace edits (edits to User:Tina) to a minimum, and outlines a few other guidelines for your userspace.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Yay!

Welcome back! MaverickNate 15:44, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. Colors are still usable in signatures here, right...? I haven't looked over the new policies yet.
Also geez roundy corners everywhere. @_@; Tina 15:45, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Of course. The only things not allowed are signature templates and images. And TTE has been making roundy corners for everything now. It's part of Phase III. MaverickNate 15:48, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Shouldn't you change your userpage to reflect that you're back? (Or are you doing that now?)--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 15:54, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm getting to that. I'm just reading over the policies real quick before I do any other edits other than my talk page.. Tina 15:56, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
You had tons of subpages. Want any of them back? MaverickNate 16:19, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Naw. I figure I should focus on the actual wiki more than my subpages.. ..although I will admit that team template that I made in my spare time was awesome and full of win. Tina 16:21, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
I was looking through the deletion log (all the way back from August), and your team pages were a crazy arrangement of templates and pages. MaverickNate 16:39, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah.. thought so, lol. I don't really need any of my old pages back, save for just the template itself (it's only two pages, Header and Pokémon, iirc) Tina 16:44, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
are those what you wanted? MaverickNate 16:54, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, thanks! :D Tina 16:55, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, no more signature templates. I think that's been there since.. May 08? I know it appeared right before I left. You'll have to manually enter in the coding for your sig in your preferences.. Tina 02:34, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Ugh....So much has changed. But I see that you only came back a few days ago. And all of our other old friends from the 'good old times' are admins now. Congrats guys! Ah, thanks! I'm not too familiar with most of the wikicode discovered while I was gone (like the roundycorner tables..), so bear with me here. ^^;; Tina 00:19, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Tina! Join AIM!!! All of us are having a chat currently. --Theryguy512 01:21, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Hm, who's talking right now? Personally, I'm more into IRC, but I guess I could use another chat client thing.. Tina 01:23, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
You could! We're annoying! And awesome! TTEchidna 10:03, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Long story short

Pokemaniac left after you left and Ryguy left and Shiny left. During that time, Jioruji Derako found the code for the roundies (-moz-border-radius) and TTE started using {{#:switch}}es. Meanwhile, Tavisource, Kuki, 0 Degrees, Super Max joined BP and started their own project (Project Custom Sprites). After that, three of them (Kuki, 0 Degrees and Super Max) were blocked at least once, leaving Tav kinda like in my situation, since the three of you from the UEP left.

Oh, and after that this girl called Tina returned.

Well, that's everything that I can recall that happened. Hope you can cope with the changes. ΘρtιmαtumTalk 09:40, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm assuming the {{#:switch}} is time-based automatic switches, right..? I bet now I'll start identifying a weird lighter as a 'new-fangled cellular phone'. lol
Also, I'm pretty sure the roundycorners were discovered right before I left (..since well, look at the table at the top of my talk page). I can't remember how to fully operate them much, though, so I guess it's off to the sandbox for me. XD
By the way, who's Tina? Tina 16:12, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Round tables: Yeah, well, they were implemented into articles long after you left.
Switch: I think they use it for archives most of the time...
Tina: I dunno, have you heard of her? ΘρtιmαtumTalk 16:15, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Spiritomb/Rotom/Sableye

I have one of each Pokemon, and a Ditto. I could breed one of them and trade it to you, if you still need one. -Smeargle 15:59, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I've got all of them now, actually.. I don't like using other people's Pokémon for things I'm going to be using in battling, anyway. Tina 22:08, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi

I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to try and minimize the number of userspace edits they make in a short period of time. Instead of making multiple edits, why not use the Preview button (Alt + Shift + P) located right next to the edit button to look at your page and see how it is coming? That way, your page can look great while staying within the required amount of edits. Instead of editing the userspace, as a wiki, we encourage users to edit the mainspace. So, if you edit the mainspace more often, you will be allowed to edit the userspace more. Thanks!

-- Uh, kidding XD I couldn't lose it, lol. By the way, I liked much your teams ;) Sorry for the inconvenience. -- RikkiKitsune 02:47, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Chitosan

Haaa, good catch there! I had a feeling I was missing a game reference somewhere... XD Thanks! 梅子 21:35, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Oh Tina

dont sorry, youre not over the limit, but i did want to mention that your userboxes stretch my resolution rather strangely. the show/hide buttons are stretched off the page, but nothing else is effected. -- MAGNEDETH 19:26, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Hm, strange. I do have a widescreen monitor (with nothing smaller than 1280x800 @_x) so it shows up normally... guess I'll investigate that later. →Tinā 20:00, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
i checked it out myself. turns out that because you listed them in a userbox, but on my resolution (1024) you aligned them as 260px, which is beyond the page (because userboxes have set widths or something). i could probably whip something up to fix it, but you dont really have to do anything, its your page. -- MAGNEDETH 23:26, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
congrats on beating the champion, and Red, and your page is no longer off my screen. but cmon, i knew you were gone from the forums, but i couldnt leave a little note for fun? -- MAGNEDETH 01:43, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
lol Didn't mean to yell or anything on my profile.. I was more annoyed at whoever that Ambipom guy is since he started emailing me and overall was kind of being creepy. I seriously need to get around to getting AIM or something though since the new 'pedia crowd seems pretty cool. And I want to be cool, too! D: ▫▪Ťïňắ 01:49, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
well, save yourself the torture of AIM, and get Pidgin. it can communicate with AIM people, as well as other programs, and unlike AIM, its not annoying as all hell. its what i use and many others. -- MAGNEDETH 02:06, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

You're right

Wow, sorry I couldn't see it but it is there = < . My bad. -LugiaRocks (TalkEdits) 20:57, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

S'okay. The sprite table's color makes it hard to see a lot of things. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to make the backgrounds for the sprite areas to be a lighter and less clashing color.. →Tinā δ 21:03, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
K - i agree. -LūgīāRōcks (Tālk δ Ēdīts) 21:04, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

HEY LOOK

I have some projects that you might like to assist with, as long as you like 1000+ tedious sprites being edited together in the same way to become 500+ animated sprites.

It's not easy to do alone. D: TTEchidna 04:19, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

I doooon't think I have any programs I can make anipngs with otherwise I'd probably try and help. Are you ripping the sprites directly from the game, or did you find them somewhere floating around the Internets except not animated? ▫▪Ťïňắ 04:22, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Easily done. Firefox has an extension for that. Kinda like Apple only I don't loathe it due to a bad history. And we've got our ways of getting them directly from the games... TTEchidna 05:05, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Ah, yes. Only prob is I don't exactly have a Voldemort you-know-what but I'll see if I can help out with the sprite uploading! :D ▫▪Ťïňắ 05:08, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
...wait a what? I don't need you to have a Mac... Just Firefox. TTEchidna 05:37, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh, not the Mac... I thought you meant... the... 'evil' thing. Illegal thing. Yknow. Um. Starts with an "e"...? ▫▪Ťïňắ 16:06, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
No we aren't using those either. TTEchidna 20:49, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
not that people should own Macs. horrible little things. -- MAGNEDETH 20:52, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Hello

Sorry if I did something wrong with my page. If I did, I'll try not to do it again. Thanks, OwnageMuch 05:48, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Just out of curiosity...

Did you beat the Battle Pyramid yet? I need to do some research on it, but I currently don't have the game. ht14 01:40, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

No, I haven't. Haven't challenged any of the frontier facilities yet, but I have access to them. What do you need? ▫▪Ťïňắ 01:41, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
See this. It's for use for Frontier I guess, but more towards this. ht14 01:51, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
There's a huuuuge page on the Pyramid on Smogon (this), but you might've already seen that... if that's not to your liking then I'll gladly raise up a Pyramid as soon as possible and research it. ▫▪Ťïňắ 01:56, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Wow, I've never even noticed it, so thanks, though, I'd prefer to have someone from here to confirm it. I'll still add it on my subpage though. ht14 01:57, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Actually, you could help me out with Gym Leader pay and held items of their Pokémon. ht14 02:08, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. I don't know a for-sure way to force the gym leaders to rematch me, though, if there is one. They never want to battle, and I think I've been only able to get the first three leaders to battle me once.. ▫▪Ťïňắ 02:11, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Just do whatever it takes, or just get as much info as you can. Your work here is appreciated. ht14 02:36, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Because it's forums content. Talk pages are for discussing the article themselves, not the subject. ▫▪Ťïňắ 17:36, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Your name reminds me of my sister.

Browser

On IE, it looks terrible without {{-}}. I'm guessing on FireFox it looks fine. We need to incorporate a way to satisfy both "customers." What do you think? ht14 03:18, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

I also have a small screen so that might have to do with it (1024x600), but I think the best thing to do is adjust the Pokemon section widths... I think if you set it to 60% or something it looks good. I forget the parameter for that, though... orz ▫▪Ťïňắ 03:20, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
I'll try it, but I think it wouldn't be fair to force many IE users to fix it to meet BP's standards, if you understand what I'm saying. I agree, BP wants FireFox to the max, etc, but we're a community. We should have no issues, right? ht14 03:23, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
The only IE users remaining are old people and businesses run by them. TTEchidna 03:26, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
I'm not old, thank you... x.x Sigh TTE, sigh. ht14 03:26, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Hey, I'm old, and I don't use IE! 梅子 03:27, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
...I use Chrome a lot, actually... 8(
Regardless, everyone should use anything not-IE. Be it Opera, Chrome, Firefox or... Safari's okay too I guess. Seriously. Don't mean to start a browser war or anything but it's not our fault that IE fails at rendering simple coding. 8| ▫▪Ťïňắ 03:29, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh, so that's why IE's shunned by so many of you... hmm... I'll ponder over this... ht14 03:31, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Haha, IE is probably the least web standards compliant browser there is, trailed only by mobile browsers and the like. It's not even a manner of opinion for the most part, the browser is just bad. XD 梅子 03:36, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Kirlia's Gender

There are no male Gardevoirs, so male Kirlias end up as Gallades. The "Gardevoir can be male" thing is just a way for Nintendo to screw with people. They apparently thought drag queen Gallades were funny as hell. - unsigned comment from Gardetrace (talkcontribs)

Pardon, I own a male Gardevoir. I hatched him in Generation IV, evolved him in Generation IV. They exist. They also exist in Generation III because guess what, there was no Gallade to evolve into!
You want proof of him existing? Because I can get it... ▫▫ティナ 16:48, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
