Powder Snow (Japanese: こなゆき Powder Snow) is a damage-dealing Ice-type move introduced in Generation II.
Effect
Generation II
Powder Snow inflicts damage and has a 9.8% chance of freezing the target.
Generation III onwards
The effects are the same as the previous generation; however, it has a 10% chance of freezing the target instead.
Powder Snow hits both opponents in a double battle. In a triple battle, Powder Snow will only hit opposing adjacent Pokémon.

Trivia
- Castform is the only non-Ice-type Pokémon to learn this move.
- However, Castform can be an Ice-type, so every Pokémon that can learn this move can potentially get STAB from it, with the exception of Smeargle
