Pokemon Mystery Dungeon utilises a new form of pokemon gameplay, where you actually move the pokemon around, yet it works on a turn based style, with each on-screen pokemon using their powers/moving one step at a time. It's suprising the amount of difference this causes. in the game you can only have 4 pokemon on your team, but you can play as these 4 at the same time, not controlling their attacks however, but choosing which attacks you want them to do and which you don't; which comes in very handy when they have healing attacks such as [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Synthesis]. This will also allow people to give their partner pokemon items when needed, and the impressive AI of the games will mean whenever you need it, they will toss you healing items. This means you can sheild your partner from attack, attack and be healed when needed.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team are a matched pair of Pokémon games for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS, respectively. These two games were developed by Chunsoft and were published by Nintendo. They were released in Japan on November 17, 2005, and, according to E3, will be released in the U.S. on September 18, 2006. Release dates in other countries have yet to be announced.

Mystery Dungeon starts with yourself as a human who is turned into a Pokémon via a series of questions at the start of the game.

When you discover you are a Pokémon, you will first meet your partner who also happens to be a Pokémon. You will start your journey by going out to find a lost Caterpie. Once this first quest is done, your journey will start to unfold.

All Pokémon from Generations I, II, and III are available in this game, and you are able to battle and befriend all of them to join your team. You will travel across this new land and enter and fight in dungeon levels.

the general gameplay

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon utilises a new form of pokemon gameplay, where you actually move the pokemon around, yet it works on a turn based style, with each on-screen pokemon using their powers/moving one step at a time. It's suprising the amount of difference this causes. in the game you can only have 4 pokemon on your team, but you can play as these 4 at the same time, not controlling their attacks however, but choosing which attacks you want them to do and which you don't; which comes in very handy when they have healing attacks such as [1]. This will also allow people to give their partner pokemon items when needed, and the impressive AI of the games will mean whenever you need it, they will toss you healing items. This means you can sheild your partner from attack, attack and be healed when needed.
