Name origin

Miltank's name is a combination of milk and tank, a storage container for liquid. The tank part of Miltank's name could also refer to her tank-like defense stats.

Miltank is based on female cattle, or cows.

Note that Miltank's ability halves the power of Fire and Ice moves; if the ability is Skill Swapped, the effectiveness of those types doubles.

In the anime

Miltank first appeared under the ownership of Whitney during EP158 and EP159.

For EP207, a Miltank was gaurding an area that was for Pokémon only.

Harrison also has a Miltank, but he only used her to quell an argument between some Pokémon during the Silver Conference in EP268.
