Matt (Japanese: ウシオ Ushio) is one of the Aqua Admins of Team Aqua.

In the games

Matt is a Team Aqua Admin in the Generation III games.

In Pokémon Ruby he makes only two cameos, at Meteor Falls and at Seafloor Cavern, alongside Archie and Shelly. He doesn't have an active role in the storyline and can't be battled.

In Pokémon Sapphire the player confronts him twice: the first time he brings the Meteorite stolen at Meteor Falls to Mt. Chimney and the player has to battle him before battling Archie. Later he assists the Aqua Leader in stealing the Submarine Explorer 1 and then he must be battled at Aqua Hideout.

In Pokémon Emerald he is seen only once, at Aqua Hideout.

The first time Matt is battled is on the crater of Mt. Chimney, after an Aqua Grunt and before Aqua Leader Archie.
