Levitate (Japanese: ふゆう Floating) is an ability that causes the user to be unaffected by Ground attacks and Arena Trap. Twenty-seven Pokémon have this ability naturally. Despite the fact that the move Magnet Rise claims it changes the Pokémon's ability to Levitate, this is not true - it just renders the Pokémon immune to Ground attacks while still keeping its normal ability for five turns.
