Region Pokédex

- Description: An invaluable electronic device.
- Purpose: It gives information about all Pokémon in the world that are contained in its database.It automatically add entry of captured Pokémon and track down fled pokémon.
- Location: Received from Professors.
National Pokédex

- Description: An upgraded version of Pokédex.
- Purpose: Record information from Pokémon around the nation, instead of just ones native to a particular region.
- Location: Upgraded after completed region Pokédex.
Unown Dex

- Description: A Pokédex upgrade present in Generation II.
- Purpose: It is designed to display all 26 different types of Unown and the word that is associated with each form.
- Location: A scientist will upgrade the player's Pokédex to support this mode after captured three different Unown and exiting the Ruins of Alph
Running Shoes

- Description: Running Shoes is an equipment in Generation III and Generation IV
- Purpose: allow the player to run instead of walk
- Location: Received from the player's mother
- Instruction: holding the B button and pressing the D-pad in any direction
