Krabby (Japanese: クラブ Crab, German: Krabby, French: Krabby) is a Water-type Pokémon.

Pokédex entries

Pokémon Emerald
Krabby live in holes dug into beaches. On sandy shores with little in the way of food, they can be seen squabbling with each other over territory.

Name origin

Krabby's name is a misspelling of crabby, which means grouchy or ill-tempered. Its Japanese name is simply Crab.

It is likely to have been based upon a crab.
