VA sources

I've noticed you've posted voice actors for Pokemon such as Lyra's Girafarig and Giant's Hitmonlee, do you have a source for these VA's?--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 00:14, 10 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I found an old japanese site that compiled a lot of character of the day and their Pokémon up to lateish DP, including some info on VA. I'll admit, even the site host seems to be unsure of these, but since it's the only source I've been able to find for these VAs and their voices do seem to match, particularly Lyra's Girafarig, Hayashibara voiced Morrison's Girafarig just a few years before, I wanted to add it. Here is the site, sorry if is not up to source standards:

I had a look, there seemed to be quite a few question marks on various Pokemon VA's which feels like guesswork to me so I don't consider it valid.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 00:28, 10 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Understood, sorry for the inconvenience, I'll keep a higher standard from now. I deleted Anthony's Hitmonchan from Sakaguchi's credits based on your correction Mortagua2 (talk) 00:34, 10 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Checking with other admin, the site is deeemed a fansite so it is a site that anyone can edit really so we can't really say for certain how accurate the information is, hope you understand as Bulbapedia requires confirmation from a reliable source when sourcing voice actor credits.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 00:41, 10 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Pokémon TCG Pocket contributions

Hi there! Welcome to Bulbapedia. I wanted to reach out and say thank you for your recent contributions to TCG Pocket pages, and to the wider TCG in general.

There are a couple of bits of editing guidance that might help you out, so I thought I'd share them with you here. Firstly, I've noticed that on a small number of occasions, you've made several edits to a page in a short space of time, maybe to add or remove something you forgot to do initially. We all do that from time to time (even me!), but when editing a page, consider using the "Show preview" button before submitting your edit, to give you a preview of the page or section you're editing. It might help you spot any mistakes, or anything you've missed, before hitting the "Save changes" button. I know it's been a lifesaver for me on a few occasions, and it helps keep the number of edits made to a minimum.

Secondly, over on the Archives, it's really important to add a summary, license, and categories when uploading an image, as it keeps things as organised as possible - which I'm sure you can appreciate is important with over a quarter of a million files already uploaded! If you aren't sure what the summary, license, and/or categories should be for an image, check out some similar images that already exist on the Archives and see how they're managed. If you're ever in doubt, ask an admin; if it's specific to the Archives, it's usually best to do that over there - I've just included this point here to keep my message in one place.

Thank you again for your contributions so far. If you have any questions or need any guidance, please feel free to reach out. Thanks! Cipher (talk) 12:53, 1 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you a lot, I'm trying to keep my edits more organized and avoid those nasty quick changes, thanks a lot for the support! I'll also try to keep my uploads more organized, I guess I had this feeling of "doing the most" with an upload or update and let someone more experienced refine the details or add the missing bits, but that clearly won't make me a proper editor. I'll be happy to reach you out! --Mortagua2 (talk) 13:12, 1 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

An apology

Sorry for deleting your image, i was working on a draft for the Tetsuo Hara page at the same time as you did and i didn't realize you had your draft already saved until i tried to save mine. ^^; anZAsquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk) 14:05, 3 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Drop event PrevNext template

Hey there, hope you're well! I wanted to thank you for the work you did on the PrevNext template for TCG Pocket drop events. Due to the potential of events to overlap or be repeated, though, this isn't something we generally do for events, as it can cause confusion; instead, we use pages such as this one and this one to list events in a sortable manner. It wasn't a bad idea at all - just something we tend to avoid doing in order to keep things clear and concise. I hope that makes sense, but feel free to ask for clarification if it doesn't. Thank you again for your ongoing contributions! Cipher (talk) 15:35, 1 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
