Welcome to Bulbapedia, Marshtompert!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Signature

Thank you for attempting to sign your talk page messages, but please remember that you must use four tildes (~~~~), not just {{u|your username}}. The tildes not only provide your username but also a link to your talk page and a timestamp, which are also important components of your signature. Thanks! Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 14:09, 6 July 2017 (UTC)

Did you get this message? You're still using Template:U instead of the tildes. I'm afraid our signature policy requires that you use the tildes, not just Template:U. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 16:32, 6 July 2017 (UTC)

Edit Warring

Please do not continually revert other users, especially staff members, it falls under edit warring and is a blockable offense. If you disagree with an edit, please take it to the talk page of the user that reverted you or to the talk page of the conflicting articles, do not go running for the revert button. Thank you.--ForceFire 16:36, 6 July 2017 (UTC)

What is causing you to think this is OK even after you were warned for it? Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 17:57, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
Due to not adhering to the warning above, you have been blocked for 3 days. When you return, please communicate disagreements through the use of talk pages. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 19:20, 6 July 2017 (UTC)

Protecting templates

Do not edit high-use templates meerely to put {{protect}} on them, bring them to an admin's attention or leave a message on the template's talk page. Additionally, do not edit pages in other user's userspaces without permission. --Abcboy (talk) 19:13, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Also, please note that if you're going to put any kind of notice on a template, you need to put it within <noinclude> and </noinclude>. Otherwise, the notice (such as "this page needs to be protected") will appear on every page the template is used on. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 19:46, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
Oops, sorry. I didn't realise that. Marshtompert (talk) 19:54, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Please keep in mind for the future that per the userspace policy you must make at least one more mainspace edit than userspace edit per day. Yesterday, you made only two mainspace edits (both to the same page), but made three userspace edits. Thanks! --Abcboy (talk) 01:17, 12 July 2017 (UTC)

Blocked users

Why are you going around finding and adding the delete tag to the userpages of blocked users? It's unnecessary, we aren't expecting users to find them in the first place. --ForceFire 05:04, 14 July 2017 (UTC)

Again, don't just go around finding userpages of permanently blocked user pages and adding the delete tag, it's unnecessary and a waste of time. No one if expected to find them.--ForceFire 14:22, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

Blocked, once more

Hello, due to your continuous decision to outright ignore other user's warnings, you have been blocked. Though I have given you the ability to edit your talk page so you can explain your actions, rather than trying to play mind games with us. Users are expected to cooperate with staff members when asked a question.

Firstly, why are you going around adding the delete tag to blocked users? It is highly suspicious behavior and it does not need to be done, regular user's are not expected to find these pages. Why are you seeking them out?
Secondly, why do you insist on adding the cleanup tag (or anything similar) without explanation and expecting us to know the reason. We can not read your mind, you HAVE to explain why you think an article needs fixing.

Please explain your actions, if this goes unnoticed for the duration of your block and you return to do the same edits, a harsher penalty will be dealt. Also, please do not edit war, if you disagree with an edit, discuss it on a talk page. Thank you.--ForceFire 02:01, 17 July 2017 (UTC)

I'm still expecting a response here.--ForceFire 10:16, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

User talk:Force Fire#This is urgent --Marshtompert (talk) 18:20, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

He isn't. ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 19:58, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Unless the user pages you are putting the Deleted template on are YOUR pages or you have personally received permission from those users, you are not allowed to place Delete templates on other users's pages or talk pages. Only the staff and the user in question can decide if they want the page removed. Frozen Fennec 20:08, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Users are expected to co-operate with staff members when inquired. If you do not respond to the questions I asked properly and continue to seek out and put delete tags on blocked users, then the proper punishment will be dealt.--ForceFire 02:39, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
Are you saying Marshtompert is required to answer the questions? ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 02:43, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
If they continue to add delete tags to blocked or inactive user's userpages or add a cleanup tag without reason and expecting us to know the reason.--ForceFire 02:59, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

Blocked infinitely, not here to contribute? I thought they had a few useful edits? Although I do agree that the guy could've been more cooperative. ¿¡Unowninator?! (talk) 15:18, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
