Revert

When someone reverts your edit, please talk about it on a page's talk page, don't just add it back. --HoennMaster 05:41, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Ataro (talk) 09:34, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

OK, thanks your suggestion ^^ (E9310103838 (talk) 02:45, 31 July 2013 (UTC))

Unown removal

Hi, I was just wondering why you removed the Unown befriended by Pearl and Diamond on their Adventure pages. Was it a mistake or was there a particular reason? --Spriteit (talk) 03:31, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

Diamond's Rotom

I'm sorry, but what exactly is your proof for Rotom not belonging to Diamond?--Rahl (talk) 15:29, 31 January 2016 (UTC)

Since Dia has six Pokemon in his team, and he did not to give a nickname to it. And it does a special status different from other Pokemon indeed, so I prefer to think that Dia annd Pearl owned it jointly or like Plusle and Minun... E9310103838 (talk) 16:27, 31 January 2016 (UTC)

He did not give a nickname to it because it had just joined him in the last chapter they showed up in. And if you check when Crystal caught Chikorita it was pointed out by Professor Oak that a Trainer can carry as many Pokémon as they want. There is no limit in this manga. If your case is that they own it together then it should be on hand for both of them. Either way I don't see how your argument says that Rotom is not owned.--Rahl (talk) 17:12, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
But like I said in the history, they said Regigigas is Dia's Pokemon, but said Rotom that it is willing to follow them. If they want to Rotom become a regular member of Dia's team, they can give it a nickname in here scene. And in the Japanese Wikipedia, they called lIke Pichu, Mantine, Espeon, Smoochum, etc as "candidate" (in box), but called Rotom "other". E9310103838 (talk) 00:50, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
They also said the same about the other Legendary Pokemon that stayed with their Trainers. Rotom obviously has a bond with Diamond and decided to stay with him after the events were over. I would also like a link to this site so I could check it out--Rahl (talk) 01:59, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
Diamond Here. E9310103838 (talk) 13:29, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
Even so it is Wikipedia, which is not a credible source.--Rahl (talk) 18:36, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

Ages

First off, when there is a note like "Please discuss the SM age instead of changing it" on a page like Red's, please follow those directions. It is not appreciated for you to ignore it.

Otherwise, it rather seems to me like you're assuming ages for a number of characters you're editing recently, like N and Hilda. If you have evidence, can you please let me know here? Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:05, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Red's age is to reach a consensus in the article before SM. I just simply plus two years disparity, so I guess it's okay.
And Hilbert / Hilda and N's age comes from official interviews (N and Cheren's age from BW2 interviews, they may be the same source with Ghetsis's full name). E9310103838 (talk) 16:30, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
Just claiming there are interviews is not enough. Please be very specific about where those interviews originally appeared, and if at all possible, provide a link to a scan of them (or something). Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:34, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
http://tieba.baidu.com/p/1773315107 Yea, the same source with Ghetsis's full name. And Hilbert / Hilda's age from Famitsu. E9310103838 (talk) 17:16, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
Just "Famitsu" is not remotely a verifiable source. I'm going to remove everything but Cheren and N until you can provide specifics. (Please do not attempt to re-edit them without getting explicit approval from someone on staff.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:22, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
From Japan Website http://dic.pixiv.net/a/%E3%83%88%E3%82%A6%E3%83%A4%28%E3%83%88%E3%83%AC%E3%83%BC%E3%83%8A%E3%83%BC%29 E9310103838 (talk) 17:25, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
Pixiv is not a source. There's no interview there or anything. Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:36, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
More than once the official said the protagonist is based on junior hight school students (中学生), and Pokemon Adventures also set this age (this is based on official, not just because Pokemon Adventures does). E9310103838 (talk) 17:47, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
Once again...if you want to make a claim like, they've officially been called junior high-age, cite a source. If you can't source something, it's not reliable. Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:51, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
I found it. http://raim2005.blog18.fc2.com/blog-entry-980.html "チェレンはトウヤ・トウコ・ベルと同じで14歳。" E9310103838 (talk) 13:51, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

(resetting indent)Sorry I've taken a bit to address this. I've made the appropriate edits. Thank you for finding sources.

I'd like to also say, however, please be careful about edit warring like on Hilbert's page. Remember that you can always take an issue to a talk page, including a staff member's if you wish, instead of continually redoing the same edit when someone disagrees with you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 21:22, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

OK, thanks. E9310103838 (talk) 01:03, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

Edit warring - Pokémon Champions

Rather than continuing to edit a page back and forth when an issue proves contentious, please take it to a talk page and leave the mainspace page alone. Remember that edit warring is a blockable offense. Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:21, 24 December 2016 (UTC)

Edit warring 3

Once again: if someone undoes an edit of yours, don't just keep adding it back. Discuss it and leave the page alone. Edit warring is not acceptable. If you persist in this bad habit, you may face a temporary block.

Please remember it. Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:35, 15 January 2017 (UTC)

Again, please discuss edits on the talk page if it has been reverted rather than adding it back. --Abcboy (talk) 17:19, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

Edit warring on Red (game)

Hey. If you had just brought it up on Talk:Red (game), someone could have explained there, but since you had to be an ass and ignore all the previous warnings you've already gotten about edit warring, I guess I have to come explain it to you here.

Sun and Moon's spot in the timeline relies on two main pieces of information.

  • Porygon's SM Pokedex entries say it was created 20 years ago. Since Porygon existed in Gen I, that means there can be no more than a 20-year gap between RBY and SM.
  • Anabel has been in Alola for 10 years. Since she was in Hoenn in Emerald, and since RSE take place at the same time as Gen I, that means there can be no less than a 10-year gap between RBY/RSE and SM.

Because RBY canon is that Red is 11 in those games, this means in SM he must be 11 plus 10-20 years. Therefore, he's 21-31 in Sun and Moon. Now please don't edit war about this again. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 17:24, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

More ages

Can you clarify for me exactly what you're referring to here when you said that Hilda/Hilbert "were said to be older than the protagonists of the past"? Like, if you could quote the exact text, that'd be really helpful in case it's hard to find. Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:26, 20 May 2017 (UTC)

It's mentioned in the last trivium on each of their pages, but I don't see how this provides any kind of proof at all, so I'm going to revert it for now until E9310103838 can provide a better source as proof to justify their edit. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 16:29, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
Http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/ab19/absol-Xperto/CoroCoro_Junio_NB_01.jpg Just a simple search. I did not mention it before because I forgot this point... E9310103838 (talk) 16:54, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
To spell it out: that's an image about BW, and it says they're older than any previous PC. Given the previous statement that they're 14 in BW or B2W2, they're either 12 in BW (and 14 in B2W2) or 14 in BW; but if they're 12, they're not older than, at the very least, Brendan/May.
There is a caveat in that Brendan/May's ages could be a bit arguable. I'm also a little uncertain about some nuance of the wording in the image. But I think the former would be too pedantic, while the latter I'm mostly sure is fine (and if someone with more expertise would like, they can argue it).
In short, it works for me. (Although at some point I would like to find a better quality image, and that should explicitly be used as a reference.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:46, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
FYI I think this may be the best link to use as a reference: http://sskrsskr.blogspot.com/2010/05/bw6.html. I don't know how you found your link above, but my own searching hasn't turned up anything besides this link (and it's the same quality). Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:43, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Blocked

I'm sorry to inform you that because of your edit warring, you have been blocked for a week's time. I went over and thought about it for some time and I have to agree that Rotom wasn't actually caught by anyone, so I have moved its section to befriended, as you suggested. However, that still doesn't excuse the fact that you must talk it out on the respective article's talk page instead of constantly reverting a page back if someone reverts your edit. Ataro (talk) 21:16, 17 August 2017 (UTC)

Blocked, again

As you have continued to edit war right after your block, you have been blocked again for a further two weeks. If you disagree with an edit, you must discuss it with the user that reverted you, do not immediately revert them. Continually going back and forth goes nowhere and achieves nothing. If you come back to edit war again, a harsher penalty will be dealt. Thank you.--ForceFire 12:28, 28 August 2017 (UTC)

Pointless edits

Please do not make pointless edits like these, they count as vandalism. If you want to request an edit, do so on the talk page, the edit summary is not for making requests. Thank you.--ForceFire 11:09, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
