By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

I appreciate your initiative but adding italic/bold to bits of the article's texts such as the Unleashed page is making them visually polluted. Pipefan (talk) 18:49, 6 April 2020 (UTC)

You keep doing this to set expansion names but now even applying to common terms such as "knock out". Still not sure that's a good approach.
(My previous message may seem rude but I hope to not look mean-spirited.) Pipefan (talk) 19:48, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

It was just so condescending to the point of being insulting. Maybe you are not using capitals in your example to elicit some particular response, I'm not sure, but each of the "Knock Out"s used in the article were all capitalised, and they could have been put in quotation marks, as you chose to do, or something else. If you are unhappy with italics, you can change them to how you like them. How is that for hoping not to look mean-spirited? Cue the others... 48Pills (talk) 20:35, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

Removing Talk Page comments

Removal of talk page comments is not allowed unless it is vandalism or the page is being archived. Frozen Fennec 02:15, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

TCG text formatting

Bold is something done for the subject of an article, it's not something done specifically for TCG things. Expansion articles have two subjects, both the international and equivalent Japanese set, so they both get bolded the first time the names pop up.

While international expansions are officially italicized, we don't bother with it outside the lead-in as it causes a lot of visual clutter and looks weird when combined with Japanese sets which aren't italicized. Same goes for TCG Series (which is capitalized). Decks, card names, and evolution stages aren't italicized. Some card classifications like LV.X have italicization, some don't, but the "Pokémon" part of it never is.

And the EX Series doesn't have any — in the titles, the EX is a regular part of the name. glikglak 17:20, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Please don't make this sound like laws have been broken, they are simply the rules that you're choosing to impose today, rules that mean absolutely nothing, and if all this visual clutter is so offensive, feel free to change it. 48Pills (talk) 19:03, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
This is the explanation you requested for me reverting your edits. So that when I do remove the unnecessary formatting, you don't add it back and don't continue making the mistake of using too much of it. If you don't agree with these standards, you're free to argue to change them, but you do need to follow them. glikglak 21:32, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
That explanation belonged in the edit summary, not as more of the nauseating brand of humour you seem to love... oh I keep forgetting, you aren't human, are you? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, gosh you are funny - unsigned comment from 48Pills (talkcontribs)

While there is no strict rule on when to archive, but you are clearly archiving to get rid of messages you don't like. That is not how it's done. You do not archive your talk page just because you don't like what other people tell you. They are trying to help you to become a better contributor. If you decide to be arrogant and archive this message, there will be consequences. Thank you.--ForceFire 06:10, 15 April 2020 (UTC)

Talk page history

I've restored your talk page history. Apologies for the deletions I had to do—because the history was originally restored by copy-pasting the missing contents rather than merging the history in, it caused a bit of a mess. --SnorlaxMonster 13:10, 15 April 2020 (UTC)

I appreciate that for each of you, this is a part of your little world and of vital importance, and you must have everything just as you like it, but normal people do not go to the trouble of becoming a member of a site like this simply for their health. I find the site very useful and what started as fixing the occasional typo or spelling mistake, led to rewriting the occasional paragraph or fixing a bad link, which in turn led to the universal boldening, italicising, uppercasing and adding of dashes. This thing that has you all up in arms is not vandalism or an act of deliberate visual pollution, it was, in the most part, an attempt to make the pages more consistent. Remove every apostrophe and you will still find a mixed bag of boldening, italicising and uppercasing, OK the dashes were experimental, no one was hurt, except maybe one or two of your iddy biddy sensitivities, and don't be so resolute that the reason I deleted your messages was that I didn't like them for the reason you have assumed. The first line of your introductory message says "Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct", yet since I joined, the treatment I have received has been anything but nice The first two messages are so patronising as to be offensive, the rest are just petty or belligerent. I am an adult, so I don't need anyone's constant approval, on the other hand, I don't need derision or constant criticisms either, especially not for voluntarily attempting to help. So, you do whatever you want, delete what you will, the account if it makes you feel better, I won't give a damn either way, this will still be nothing more than a useful tool. Having read most of your profiles over the last months it has become abundantly clear to me, we will never speak the same language. - unsigned comment from 48Pills (talkcontribs)

Archiving, again

As I have stated before, do not archive for the sake of getting rid of warnings or advice from other members. And considering what you typed out in the link to your "archive", it would appear that you are still doing so to ignore your messages, to sweep them under the rug. As you have repeatedly done this, and have not clarified whether you are or are not archiving just to get rid of the messages, I have move protected your talk page for 6 months. This means you may not "archive" your page unless you give a good reason why it should be archived.--ForceFire 15:34, 3 May 2020 (UTC)

Once again, you seem so suredly convinced of my motives for everything, even though this time I thought I could not have made the reason clearer. Are you really sure my lack of clarification was your motive for move protecting the talk page for 6 months, I mean, is that really your idea of consequences? I am so bitterly disappointed in you Force Fire, lame, lame, so, so lame. 48Pills (talk) 15:33, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
Your message above this section surely doesn't clarify why you archived your talk page when the only content was advice and warnings from other users, including a staff member. Sure, the very first message may be a touch rude, but it's not offensive. And what you wrote here, seemed aggressive and unnecessary, and it really comes off as you not wanting to acknowledge any messages you've received previously. The move protection will last for 6 months, unless you can give a very good reason for why your talk page should be archived, and if the staff feels it's good enough, it could get removed or reduced.--ForceFire 06:16, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
You really are slow on the uptake. If it "seemed aggressive and unnecessary", maybe you should look to see who first used the phrase.

And make the move protection last a lifetime, see if that does what you intended. 48Pills (talk) 20:50, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

Per the Talk page policy, on Bulbapedia talk pages, it is not acceptable to spam the same or similar messages across multiple pages. Your repeated copying and pasting of Force Fire's warning towards you on your talk page not only seems like a method of antagonizing Force Fire, it also makes your page more difficult to follow and understand for anyone who wants to leave you a message or get in contact with you. You have been blocked for one day per message you posted, so five days. When you return, please adhere to staff warnings and all Bulbapedia policies and procedures. Thanks. --Pokemaster97 22:39, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

For continuing to remove messages from your talk page in violation of the talk page policy and your continued intimidating behavior towards other staff members in response to warnings, you have been blocked from one week. Please refrain from this kind of behavior upon your return. --Abcboy (talk) 18:59, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

I'll think about it. - unsigned comment from 48Pills (talkcontribs)

Editing messages, and signature

Regarding that quotation edit, it changes the tone of the original phrasing and hence, changes its meaning. Unless it is absolutely necessary, for example when fixing a relink following the renaming of an article or a similar case, do not edit old messages whether your's or someone else's.

Also, please do not change it back, if a message, that was left unsigned, has been marked accordingly. If you are not sure what that is, please give this a read. Thank you. AdilTalk page 23:58, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
All that crap just because you joined the party late and can't admit you made a mistake, bravo, well done.
I'm sure you could make not signing reason enough to block me, what do you think? - unsigned comment from 48Pills (talkcontribs)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Mr. Daikon (talk) 04:07, 9 July 2020 (UTC)

I really do think if you made a little more of an effort. You too could eventually come across... just as condescending as the others. It would take a bit of practice on your part. Please try it out, so as not to be too disappointing. Also, if you want to leave multiple comments on this page, make sure you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing the page by page section. Thanks! - unsigned comment from 48Pills (talkcontribs)

Permanent block

You seem to only pop back up to annoy people with your unwarranted and unacceptable behavior, so you've been permanently blocked. glikglak 22:31, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
