Marnie's Grimmsnarl (Japanese: マリィのオーロンゲ Mary's Ohlonge) is Marnie's main battling Pokémon in the anime and games.

In the anime

In the main series

Grimmsnarl made its anime debut in Battling Turned Up to Eleven!. It was used to battle Ash and Gengar at the World Coronation Series match in the Wyndon Stadium. During the battle, both Gengar and Grimmsnarl activated their Gigantamax forms. But despite having the upper hand in the battle, Grimmsnarl wasn't able to keep up with Gengar and was ultimately defeated.

As a Morgrem, Grimmsnarl is Marnie's third known Pokémon. He was first seen being used to battle Eternatus on the Tower Summit. Later, Morgren is used to battle Peony's Copperajah, where he eventually evolved into Grimmsnarl during the battle.

Champion's Path Premium Collection—Marnie

The third wave of Champion's Path products available from October 23, 2020 also included the Champion's Path Premium Collection—Marnie, which focused on Morpeko and Grimmsnarl, two Pokémon used by the rival character Marnie in Pokémon Sword and Shield. The two Pokémon were featured as alternate-art promotional cards and as pins. Each collection also came with eight Champion's Path booster packs, a code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, and a playmat. The packaging features the same check pattern as other Champion's Path merchandise with a pink foil inlay.

Champion's Path Special Collection—Marnie

The Champion's Path Special Collection—Marnie was also available outside North America from October 23, 2020 and was a smaller version of the Champion's Path Premium Collection. This collection included the same alternate-art Morpeko and Grimmsnarl Pokémon V cards, plus the same Morpeko pin, but substituted the Grimmsnarl pin for a Jumbo version of the Grimmsnarl card and the playmat for a poster. The collection also included five Champion's Path booster packs and a TCGO code card.
