In Mission: Total Recall!, it was first used alongside Alakazam to battle Gladion's Umbreon and Lycanroc. It was able to incapacitate both Lycanroc and its Trainer using Hypnosis. Faba had planned to use Hypno's Hypnosis to erase Lillie's memories of the Ultra Beast incident, but it was stopped by Pikachu and eventually defeated by Gladion's Silvally.
In Battling Besties!, Faba used Hypno in the first round of the Manalo Conference. Faba had Hypno use its powers to ensure that Ash had to battle with Meltan instead of Pikachu. Hypno attempted to use Hypnosis on Meltan, only for Meltan to eat part of its Pendulum. Hypno was soon knocked out by Flash Cannon, eliminating Faba from the competition.
Personality and characteristics
At first, Hypno, along with Alakazam, was a malicious Pokémon who would do anything to keep Lillie from remembering her past. But after Ash and the gang returned Lusamine back to the real world, Hypno showed to have a remorseful side as it and Alakazam apologized for attacking everyone.
