Kilo first appeared in a flashback in Ooh Shiny!! Legendary Equipment, traveling with Casey to the Slumbering Weald to obtain a Wishing Star. Upon finding the Wishing Star, Casey and Henry found themselves surrounded by the Legendary PokémonZacian and Zamazenta. Kilo attacked them with the rest of Casey's team, though the moves passed right through the Pokémon. Realizing they were illusions, the two humans walked through them, only to be knocked out by a bright flash of light. After waking up, Casey realized her entire team had gone missing.
In Blazing!! Bede's Feelings, Casey used an interview to talk about her missing Pokémon. Soon after she was approached by Hop, who spotted Kilo in a nearby swamp. When they arrived, they found the Rush Pokémon being swallowed by a wild Cramorant. Working together, the two Trainers damaged the Gulping Pokémon enough to make it activate its Ability, Gulp Missile, and spit Kilo out.
Later, Kilo was used in Casey's Gym battle against Kabu. Casey had Kilo Dynamax following Kabu Gigantamaxing his Centiskorch. The two quickly beat the Radiator Pokémon, winning Casey the match.
In Shocking!! Reunion in the Forest, it was revealed that Kilo was used in Casey's Gym battle against Allister. With its onslaught of Bite attacks, it was able to quickly earn the match for its Trainer.
In Crunch!! Snowy Battle, Kilo was used in Casey's gym battle against Opal, where it ended up being defeated.
Personality and characteristics
Kilo and Casey
Like its Trainer, Kilo is very energetic and headstrong, as seen when it ran headfirst into a gate. It has a habit of flapping its tail fin left and right, then stopping in the middle as if lost in thought. It is very powerful, able to sweep through a Gym Leaders team.
