Night Wanderer (Japanese: 強化拡張パック ナイトワンダラーEnhanced Expansion Pack: Night Wanderer) is the name given to the sixth Japanese subset released during the Pokémon Trading Card Game's Scarlet & Violet Era.
Additionally, Night Wanderer introduces a new unique Holofoil pattern to Pokémon Trading Card Game cards known as "parallel foil." Like other types of Reverse Holofoil cards, parallel foil cards can be distinguished by the white expansion code box with black text, in contrast to regular cards, which have black expansion code boxes with white text.
Some cards in Night Wanderer have effects focused on making the player's own Active Pokémon Poisoned. Pecharunt ex can switch Darkness-type Pokémon to the Active Spot and make them Poisoned while Janine's Secret Art can attach additional Energy to Darkness-type Pokémon while making them Poisoned. These effects can be combined with Binding Mochi, which increases damage dealt by Poisoned Pokémon, and with Okidogi ex, which can become Poisoned from its first attack to deal increased damage with its second attack. Munkidori ex can also synergize with Pecharunt ex, as Munkidori ex's Ability reduces the Prize cards opponents take when it is Knocked Out if Pecharunt ex is in play. Additionally, the Pokémon Crobat, Malamar, and Kyurem have effects that interact with the Supporter cards Janine's Secret Art, Xerosic's Machinations, and Colress's Tenacity, respectively.
Night Wanderer was released in Japanese on June 7, 2024, followed by localized releases in Traditional Chinese on June 21, 2024. Each booster pack of Night Wanderer contains 5 cards. Cards released in Night Wanderer are included in the Indonesian- and Thai-exclusive set Stellar Guidance.
Cards released in this set are included in the English Shrouded Fable expansion.
