Rulings

  • Against dual-type Pokémon whose types are both referenced on the Thick Scale card (eg. Scovillain ex whose "Double Type" Ability makes it both Grass-type and Fire-type while in play), Thick Scale only reduces damage from those Pokémon once (meaning the incoming damage is reduced by 50 and not by 100).[1]

Trivia

Origin

This card's effect references the four resistances of the Dragon type in the Pokémon games: Grass, Fire, Water, and Electric.
