Tera Type Trivia
Wanted to asked before removing. Can someone please explain the Tera type trivia? I've read it over and over and I can't seem to understand what the point it is making is. It's written confusedly in my opinion. HoennMaster 05:13, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- Normally, when a Pokémon spawns in the wild in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, its Tera type matches one of its normal types. However, Ceruledge does not appear in the wild. Because Charcadet is pure Fire-type, any Armarouge or Ceruledge that evolves from it would have a Fire Tera type. Therefore, the only way to obtain a Ceruledge with a Ghost Tera type is to obtain it in a Tera Raid Battle, or have its Tera type changed at the Treasure Eatery. - Coffee (Talk) 05:54, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for that clarification. I knew that, just did not understand that is what the trivia was pointing out. I guess that leads me to ask if this is really note worthy? I admit I am behind on Horizons...but just like the games a Pokémon can have any Tera-type, so whose to say Amethio didn't change it? It just doesn't seem that notable to me. Plus, the anime loves doing it's own thing anyway. --HoennMaster 20:03, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- As the person who added that trivia point, I'll grant you that. - Coffee (Talk) 20:14, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
