Supporter card (TCG Pocket)
Supporter cards (Japanese: サポート Support) are one of the three primary subclasses of Trainer cards in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, alongside Item cards and Pokémon Tool cards.
Supporter cards primarily depict and feature characters from the Pokémon games such as Gym Leaders and Trainer classes, though can also depict characters unique to Pocket and the wider Pokémon Trading Card Game. Supporter cards are color-coded as orange, as depicted on the card's design, Trainer type, and rule.
Players are allowed to play only one Supporter card during their turn. Generally, Supporter cards have stronger effects than Item cards, or have effects that are unique to this card type. There are currently 72 different Supporter cards, though many have been released in multiple versions.
Supporter cards debuted in the Genetic Apex expansion and the Promo-A series of cards, which were both introduced at the game's launch on October 30, 2024 worldwide (September 26, 2024 in New Zealand). Supporter cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket are usually of 
rarity, though with the exception of Professor's Research from the Promo-A series of cards, all Supporter cards have also received a full art 
version in the same set as the regular version.
