Flavor text Generation VII Boosts the Pokémon's Speed stat in a hailstorm. Generation VIII Boosts the Pokémon's Speed stat in a hailstorm. Generation IX Boosts the Pokémon's Speed stat in snow. Champions Doubles the Pokémon's Speed stat in snow.

Slush Rush (Japanese: ゆきかき Snow Removal) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII.

In battle

During a hailstorm or snow, the Speed stat of Pokémon with this Ability is doubled.

Unlike similar Abilities, Slush Rush does not prevent the Pokémon from taking damage from hail.

Outside of battle

Slush Rush has no effect outside of battle.
