Release information

In Japan, this card was first available as an Unnumbered Promotional card in the third volume of Pokémon Card Information, distributed for free at participating stores from July 19, 2001. It was later reprinted in the Japanese Pokémon VS expansion. The only discernible difference between the two prints is the presence of a 1st Edition symbol. Prints from Pokémon VS have a 1st Edition symbol as the expansion had no Unlimited print run, whereas the Unnumbered Promotional prints lack a 1st Edition symbol.
