Pokémon Advanced Action Cards

A packet of Action Cards

Pokémon Advanced Action Cards are a series of Pokémon cards made by Cards Inc. in 2004. There are 108 total cards in the set, each with a lenticular hologram. The holograms often feature a Pokémon and its Evolution, however, if the Pokémon featured does not evolve, it is instead shown in different poses. There are also five cards featuring characters from Pokémon the Series. The general concept of Pokémon Advanced Action Cards is similar to Pokémon Action Flipz.

Pokémon Advanced Action Cards were sold in packets of three and were available in the United Kingdom, France and Italy. At the time of the Action Cards's release, a customer could send away £4.99 for a special collector's album.

Two versions of Pokémon Advanced Action Cards

A comparison between two cards from Panini and Cards Inc

There are two different versions of these two cards due to two different companies producing these for different markets. Panini produced these for the French and Italian market and Cards Inc. produced them in the United Kingdom. Since all cards have the same information and no real text is on the cards, all cards are so to speak 'English'.

The italian packs had the Panini logo on the front and have cards with Panini logo on the backside as can be seen on all the backside photographs of the cards. The English packs had Cards Inc. on the front of the pack as well as on the backside of the cards as can be seen with the booster pack photo.

List of Pokémon Advanced Action Cards
