A Swablu lives in the forest an discovers a passion for singing after quelling an argument between a Houndour and a Panpour.
As it practices singing and makes friends in the forest, it attracts the attention of René and her Audino who give it a special ribbon that contained Alatrianite to wear.
After one final performance for its Pokemon friends, now including a Mareep and two Buneary, Swablu flies to a human city. Unfortunately, it does not get much attention from passers by and it flies off in shame.
Kamina is a young girl with a passion for singing and a dream of competing in the Grand Prix when she turned 15, inspired by René's debut at the same age.
Her goal was to outperform all other performers on stage and gain the admiration of fans.
During her time in the city square, she encountered the Swablu.
Initially overlooked by others, the Swablu caught Kamina's attention, and she invited it to become her partner.
After three years of rigorous practice for the Grand Prix, Kamina and Swablu are ready to perform, but they get separated on the way.
Swablu doubted itself, but while reflecting on Kamina's love and support it found the strength to return to the stage and evolved into Altaria.
René recognized Kamina’s potential and gifted her a Key Stone necklace, pleased that Swablu had found a dedicated partner.
Together, Kamina and Altaria performed at the Grand Prix, during which Altaria mega-evolved for the first time, although they did not win.
Nevertheless, they planned to host a spectacular fireworks display during their next performance.
