Activation

To activate this skill, all of the following conditions must be met:

• The Pokémon set in the team's first slot is capable of Mega Evolution.
• The player possesses the appropriate Mega Stone (or in Rayquaza's case, the Meteorite).
• The skill user has the same type as the Pokémon that will Mega Evolve.
  • For Pokémon that change type upon Mega Evolving, this skill only considers their type before Mega Evolving. This affects Mega Charizard X, Mega Mewtwo X, and their Shiny variants.
• The Mega Gauge must not be full yet.

Effect

When activated, this skill adds 9 icons to the Mega Gauge.

If the Pokémon that will Mega Evolve has this skill and activates it, then their Mega Gauge is increased by the size of the match, plus the skill's effect. For example: making a match of 4 with this Pokémon adds 13 icons to the Mega Gauge - 4 from the match itself, and 9 from the activated skill.

Skill level growth

Increasing skill level will increase the activation rate.
