Liquid Voice (Japanese: うるおいボイス Moist Voice) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Popplio's evolutionary line.

Effect

In battle

Liquid Voice turns the Pokémon's sound-based moves into Water-type moves.

Affected moves

The table below lists the moves affected by Liquid Voice, as well as the Pokémon that can have Liquid Voice and learn those moves.

Although other sound-based moves are also affected by the Ability, they cannot be learned by any Pokémon with Liquid Voice. They may, however, be called via Metronome, Mirror Move, Copycat, or Mimic, or be used by a Pokémon that gained Liquid Voice by an Ability like Trace or Receiver or a move such as Skill Swap or Role Play.

Outside of battle

Liquid Voice has no effect outside of battle.
