Critical Focus (Japanese: 急所時急所率アップCritical Hit Rate Boost During Critical Hit) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the user lands a critical hit, its critical-hit rate increases by one stat rank per skill rank. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including buddy moves, as well as sync moves and max moves. The skill will only activate once per attack, so if the Pokémon lands critical hit against multiple targets, or gets multiple critical hits from a multistrike move, the skill only activates once. However, if the Pokémon has multiple instances of the skill, all instances activate simultaneously. For example, a Pokémon that has both Critical Focus 1 and Critical Focus 2 would have its critical-hit rate raised by a total of three stat ranks each time it lands a critical hit.
