Release information
2021 print
In Japan, this card was released as one of the S-P Promotional cards and was awarded to players who had accumulated at least 30 Championship Points (abbreviated CSP in Asian regions; abbreviated CP in regions outside Asia) over the course of the 2020-2021 season, up to and including August 31, 2021.[1] As with the previous season, this reduced requirement was due to the continued effects of the COVID-19 pandemic; CSP were only awarded at City Leagues and Trainer's Leagues that were able to go ahead.[2] This print is numbered 254/S-P, has artwork by Kagemaru Himeno, and features the Championship Series 2021 logo. Distribution to entitled players began in late September 2021.
This print was subsequently made available in Simplified Chinese as part of the Radiant Energy Vol. 2 Theme Pack, which launched in mainland China on July 12, 2024. This print is Reverse Confetti Holofoil and does not feature any logos.
2022 print
In Japan, an S-P Promotional print with the collection number 306/S-P and different Kagemaru Himeno artwork was awarded to players accumulating at least 30 CSP over the course of the 2021-2022 season, up to August 21, 2022 inclusive.[3] Eligible events were once again limited to City Leagues and Trainer's Leagues. This print has the Championship Series 2022 logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration and distribution to eligible players began in late September 2022.[4]
The 2022 print was also available in other Asian markets to celebrate the first anniversary of the launch of the official Pokémon Card Game Trainers Website. In Taiwan and Hong Kong, it was released in Traditional Chinese as a S-P Promotional card. To receive a copy, people were required to register as a member through their local Trainers Website and sign up for at least one Pokémon Card Gym event between December 1 and 31, 2022. Those doing so could pick up their copy at participating venues hosting Town Leagues or regional-level official tournaments in January 2023 upon presenting their Trainer ID and identity documents to attendants.[5][6]
It was released as a S-P Promotional card in Indonesia under similar circumstances. People were required to register as a member through the Trainers Website. Those who provided their name, Trainer ID, and KTP number while participating in either the Pokémon Game Card Collection Workshop at the Jakarta Pokémon Festival or any Pokémon Card Gym event held in December 2022 that was listed on the Pokémon Card Game Trainers Website were eligible for a copy of this card. The Jakarta Pokémon Festival was held at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 and PIK Golf Island, North Jakarta between December 8, 2022 and January 8, 2023 and copies of the card could be redeemed from the information desk at PIK Avenue. Copies of the card for those taking part in Pokémon Card Gym events began to be distributed at host stores in January 2023.[7]
In Thailand, it was also released as a localized S-P Promotional card but was instead distributed to participants of Town Leagues held between December 3, 2022 and January 29, 2023.[8] The Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, and Thai prints lack the Championship Series 2022 logo.
In mainland China, this print was localized in Simplified Chinese and was included in the Radiant Energy Vol. 3 Theme Pack, which was released on September 20, 2024. This print is Reverse Confetti Holofoil and does not feature any logos.
2023 print
The 2023 print of Celebratory Fanfare features artwork by Yuu Nishida and was first released in Japan as an SV-P Promotional card. Players who had accumulated at least 30 CSP over the course of the 2022-2023 season up to August 31, 2023 inclusive were eligible to receive this card.[9] The only events that offered CSP were City Leagues and Trainer's Leagues; Champion's Leagues and the Pokémon Japan Championships did not award any CSP, despite being larger competitions. This print has the collection number 110/SV-P and features the Championship Series 2023 logo. Distribution began in late September 2023.[10]
The 2023 print was distributed in other Asian markets as an end-of-season prize for the 2022-2023 Asia Championship Series. To become eligible for a copy, players were required to have participated in at least one event that awarded CSP during the season and earned at least 1 CSP. The eligibility period expired after August 30, 2023 and prizes were scheduled for distribution starting November 2023.[11][12][13][14] It was available as a Thai SV-P Promotional card in Thailand, an Indonesian SV-P Promotional card in Indonesia, and a Traditional Chinese SV-P Promotional card in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Each of these localized prints feature an Asia Championship Series 2022-23 logo.
In South Korea, this print was distributed as a Korean SV-P Promotional card to participants of the 2024 Korean League Final Season, which was held at Lotte Hotel World, Seoul on May 5 and 6, 2024. Participants were required to register on the Pokémon Card Game website and, if successful, were required to confirm their reservation, name, and phone number with event staff in exchange for a copy of the card. The card could be redeemed on May 5 between 12:00pm and 6:00pm.[15] This print features the 2024 Korean League logo.
2024 print
Another SV-P Promotional print with artwork by Yuu Nishida was first released in Japan as an end-of-season prize for players that earned at least 30 CSP between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024. Shipments to eligible players were scheduled to begin in late September 2024.[16] Events that awarded CSP for this season included City Leagues and Trainer's Leagues.[17] This print has the collection number 174/SV-P and features the Championship Series 2024 logo.
This print was available in a similar manner in other Asian regions, requiring the same number of CSP over the same period, although cards had to be redeemed in person rather than being shipped. In Taiwan, eligible players could claim their copy at any Ultra Ball League event held from February 15, 2025.[18] In Hong Kong, eligible players could claim their copy at any Ultra Ball League event held from February 23, 2025. Uniquely in this region, Celebratory Fanfare was only available to players using Traditional Chinese language cards; those using English cards were instead eligible for a promotional variant of Glass Trumpet.[19][20]
In Indonesia, eligible players could claim the card at any Ultra Ball League event held from March 2, 2025.[21] In Thailand, the card could be claimed by eligible players at Ultra Ball League events held on the following dates and locations: April 20, 2025 at NK Card, Diana Complex Shopping Center, Songkhla; April 26, 2025 at WAKA Space, Robinson Lifestyle Ratchapruek Shopping Center, Nonthaburi; and May 4, 2025 at Nx Gallery East, Passion Rayong Shopping Center, Rayong.[22] Players in these Asian regions were required to have their Pokémon Card Game Trainers Website profile open and present their Player ID when claiming their card. Each of these localized prints feature an Asia Championship Series 2023-24 logo.
This print was later available in South Korea as part of the 2025 Korean League Final Season, which was held at the COEX exhibition center, Seoul on June 7 and 8, 2025. People wishing to participate were required to register on the Pokémon Card Game website between May 19 and June 1, 2025. If successful, participants could confirm their reservation, name, and phone number with staff at the venue's reception desk in exchange for a copy of the card. The card could be redeemed on June 7 between 12:00pm and 6:00pm.[23] This print features the 2025 Korean League logo.
2025 print
In Japan, this card was reprinted as one of the M-P Promotional cards with artwork once again by Yuu Nishida. It was awarded to players who had accumulated a certain number of CSP over the course of the 2024-2025 season, up to and including August 31, 2025. For the first time since the 2017-2018 season, more than one prize was available. Players that earned anywhere between 30 and 79 CSP were eligible for a copy of this print; players that earned at least 80 CSP were eligible for a two-card set comprising this print and a copy of Scizor ex. Junior and Senior League players with the top 250 CSP totals for the season were also eligible for a pack of 2025 Champion's League sleeves, as were the top 500 Master League players.[24] Events that awarded CSP comprised City Leagues and Trainer's Leagues.[25] This print has the collection number 033/M-P and features the Championship Series 2025 logo.
The 2025 print was similarly distributed in other Asian markets for the 2024-2025 Asia Championship Series, which ran from September 1, 2024 until August 31, 2025. Starting with this season, Championship Points were renamed League Points (LP) and, similar to Japan, more than one prize was offered. In Taiwan and Hong Kong, Celebratory Fanfare was available as a Traditional Chinese M-P Promotional card to players that earned at least 30 LP. Packs of Asia Championship Series 2024-25 Sleeves were available to Taiwanese players earning at least 27 LP and to players in Hong Kong earning at least 39 LP; an Asia Championship Series 2024-25 Playmat was available to Taiwanese players that reached at least 62 LP and to Hong Kongese players that reached at least 69 LP.[26][27] In Thailand, the card was available as a Thai M-P Promotional card to players earning at least 30 LP; the sleeves were available at 58 LP; the playmat was available at 91 LP.[28] In Indonesia, the card was available as an Indonesian M-P Promotional card to players earning at least 30 LP; the sleeves were also available at 30 LP; the playmat was available at 56 LP.[29] Players could pick up any prizes they qualified for at any Ultra Ball League event in their region held during the subsequent 2025-2026 Asia Championship Series. All players were required to have their Pokémon Card Game Trainers Website profile open and present their Player ID when redeeming their prizes. Each of these localized prints feature an Asia Championship Series 2024-25 logo.
Celebratory Fanfare was localized outside Asia for the first time in the 2024-2025 season as part of the Ace Trainer Rewards program. Players of the TCG, the video games, and Pokémon GO would attain Ace Trainer status by earning 200 CP over the course of the season (CP did not accumulate across game types and were not transferable). A set number of Pokémon UNITE teams from each Regional Zone would also attain Ace Trainer status based on their CP leaderboard standings at the end of the season. Eligible regions included North America, Europe, and Oceania; Latin America was specifically excluded due to logistical constraints. Players with Ace Trainer status would receive a physical copy of this print as well as a digital deck box and sleeves set in Pokémon TCG Live. Physical prizes were scheduled to be shipped by January 31, 2026.[30][31][32] This print features "Ace Trainer" in gold foil below the effect text and a Play! Pokémon logo behind it.
