Burn Boost (Special) (Japanese: やけど相手攻撃時特殊ブースト１付与Special Boost 1 When Attacking Burned Opponent) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands an attack on the target that is burned, it has a chance of increasing the user's Special Moves ↑ Next effect by one rank. The skill can range from Burn Boost (Special) 1 to Burn Boost (Special) 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Burn Boost (Special) 9 will always increase the user's Special Moves ↑ Next effect. Currently, only Burn Boost (Special) 2 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
