Ancient ruins can be found scattered about the Lental region in New Pokémon Snap. They can be recorded in the Photodex by taking a photo of them.

Ancient structures and buildings found all over Lental. Most are so worn that it's impossible to know what they originally looked like. It's said that they're somehow connected to Lental's legends.

In New Pokémon Snap

Ancient ruins are stored in a separate section of the Photodex and are not awarded a score. Registering all 12 awards the player with the "Historian" research title
